Valentine's Day 2020

10th Valentine's Day. Some things never change. Just like my cooking skills, it's still as bad if not worse. Meanwhile, he continues to surprise me with his culinary skills. To more (kitchen) adventures together!

Valentine's Day 2019

Celebrated our 9th Valentine's Day, first February 14th as husband and wife, in our own home sweet home!

Valentine's Day 2018

8th Valentine's Day.

First (and only) Valentine's Day as husband and wife-to-be. Looking forward to the next and many more Valentine's Day together. ♥

Valentine's Day 2017

7th Valentine's Day. Some things never change, just like our tradition of doing our very own Valentine's Day dinner at home. Can't wait to celebrate our February 14th in our own house.. in the future! ♥

Valentine's Day 2016

6th Valentine's Day. I'm thankful for the up and down, thick and thin that we've went through. ♥

Valentine's Day 2014

"Our kind of celebration of love, 4th year and counting.."

Deserving closed-up photo because all was prepared by Chef Young! :)

On the menu that night:
Grilled Chicken served with Salad & Potato Wedges
Baked Mussels with Cheese
Homemade Pizza
Yealands Estate Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2012

Things we do on February 14th ♥

In exactly a month ago, we celebrated our third Valentine's Day together. Our February 14th have never been about flowers and chocolates or dine-out. For the past 2 years, we have been doing our very own candlelit dinner at home and this year is no difference. Call us the homey couple.

Anyway, I thought it will be cute to have our Valentine's Day timeline to see how much we've grown together.

Our very first Valentine's Day back in 2011, the Mister surprised me with the painting and the photo frames in his room!

Then our second Valentine's Day, the highlight of the night was the gigantic 24R photo collage of our Project 365 - a photo-a-day project that we started back in January 11th, 2011.

This year we had our simple candlelit dinner at this Secret Restaurant.

That's about it! Ending off with one of my favourite quotes that says, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life" so I say, "Choose the right lover, and everyday is gonna be a Valentine's Day!" Glad to have found the Mr. Right of mine. I am definitely looking forward to the forth; fifth and many more of our Valentine's Day ahead.

Meanwhile, have a blissful White Day! :)

Counting down 1 month 27 days to our 31 Days adventure!
